"AMTE" A Phenomenon

Phenomenon 2Definition: That which strikes one as strange, unusual, or unaccountable; an extraordinary or very remarkable person, thing, or occurrence; as, a musical phenomenon.

Baba Amte and his work that his co-workers and family members is nothing less than a"Phenomenon".I say this for the unparalleled work they are performing amidst these "progressive" modern times.Civilizations may have grown and seen the days of futuristic world,but the people in the interiors of Independent Nations still remain nomads and tribal.The educated and intelligent masses are still unaware of 'Leprosy"at large.Why doesn't the media bring things of such importance to the fore rather than spending valuable hours and money over a mean fight in Politics or Bollywood. The real support for 'human tragedy is never received simply because it is unglamourous,non TRP rating or sensational.
This blog is purely to vent my anger over people who spends valuable resources in totally vulgar ways and not help the real human brotherhood.I try to bring to notice of people who care to "do"something for the "cause".Advising and lecturing is easy...action is difficult.Can you imagine if you had a dreaded disease and were taken away from your own house and family and left at the doorstep of an institution and were left to live your entire life at 'God's mercy so to say.??
Having something never makes you satisfied...it only makes you want more.Have you thought of giving or sharing your 'good life' with fellow humans?Only when you do not have something..you value it really and truly.
I suggest a visit to the Maharogi Seva Samiti's projects could be a good way to find out what life is all about.You may go to many a place for a holiday and suggest people too about the fun and beauty...go to some thing more realistic rather than artificially made.The vagaries of mankind...find out what true dedication is and where heaven can be made on earth for those who deserve it most.

Having met all concerned with these projects,I have taken it as a personal task to whatever I can to help in any which way I can and make my life worthwhile living.

The Amte Ladies who stand by and more than ably support namely Dr Madakini P Amte,Dr.Bharti V Amte,Dr. Anagha D Amte,Samiksha A Amte ,Pallavi K Amte and now growing up with same zeal and zest Arnav D Amte Dr. Digant's son.....all with the able help,support,dedication of their co-workers..To name a few,
Vilas & Renuka Manohar, Gopal & Prabha Phadnis, Dada & Baban Panchal, Jagan Machkale, Manohar & Sandhya Yempalwar etc. and many more who I will mention in my future blogs are doing such yeomen service that it puts entire governments who run on public money to shame..
On one hand I feel so proud of this family and on the other so angered by the attutude of the world ,in which they perform this fabulous task towards humanity, not paying proper heed and not value this work. I realise though that venting anger is better done by working harder for the cause than complaining about something and blaming someone!!
