Haven't written for a long time......

Month's go by and still faster are the weeks,days,hours..... and the one says ..."life is so short"
I think we are so busy with our own calculations that we do not see what really is !!

Anecdotes,incidents,occasions,happenings carry on unfolding in front of our eyes ...and we do not give them time,attention,thought.... we are busy with machines...cellphones,laptops and desktops,TV sets, iPod,etc....

Are we living a ''Life"?

Some things which are now indisputable after my 56 yrs. ......

We are born without 'OUR OWN' control whatsoever.

Our Life is well planned, Our script pre-written,Our contacts pre-destined,Our marriage-whether or not is unknown and our relatives not in our control...

Where, what ,when ,how  etc....are intrigue and adventure ....saying that "I" can decide is always a hypothetical argument.

Real Friends are not merely - contacts, acquaintanceship,heard,seen,read about people ... they are true real 'family' and they are not by marriage...

Relatives need not always be on 'your' side. Ultimately they are 'relative'.

Love and faith are 'truly blind' and "unqualified".

Support always comes from the most unexpected and unknown.

The nearest person is the one you haven't even dreamed  of.

The 'best' moments are always a surprise.

Sad and Happy is a reference to context 'only'.

Hurt comes from the dearest and Happiness comes from the Furthest.

We always blame something rather than asking our own 'self' truly !

Addiction is our way of saying ...... nothing happens,so what,not really !

We always feel blessed at the most 'rare' moments.

"Compassion can't be learnt and neither can Empathy"

You are what you have been made,you can only do the best with what you have been given.

We cannot force a situation as we can only 'act'... reactions are not in your control...

या कार्यक्रमांच्या निर्मितीत सप्रेम आणि सक्रीय सहभाग देणारे सर्व गायक/गायिका/ अभिवाचक/अभिवाचिका/निवेदक 

/निवेदिका/वादक/ तंत्रज्ञ यांचाही फार मोलाचा वाटा आहे..तसाच आम्हाला
वेळोवेळी सर्वतोपरी पाठींबा देणा-या हितचिंतकांचा आणि आमच्या प्रस्तुतीवर निरतिशय प्रेम करणाऱ्या रसिक मायबापांचा आहे. या सर्व प्रयोगांची संकल्पना,संहिता, दिग्दर्शन, अभिवाचन ,आणि गायन असा संपूर्ण
भार यशस्वीपणे पेलणारा आमचा ( एरवी तो हे विशेषण ज्यांच्या काव्य निर्मितीवर त्याने निर्मिती केली त्यांच्या बाबतीत तो वापरतो पण आज मी ते अतिशय अभिमानानं त्याला उद्देशून वापरतोय..होय तोच) प्रतिभावंत कलाकार
चंद्रकांत काळे याच्याविषयी माझी कृतज्ञता आणि आदर व्यक्त करणे हेही या लिखाणाचे प्रयोजन...शब्दवेध च्या सातातल्या पहिल्या पाच म्हणजे अमृतगाथा ,प्रीतरंग , साजणवेळा , शेवंतीच बन, आख्यान तुकोबाराय या पाच प्रस्तुतींमध्ये
संगीतकार म्हणून मला जे जे प्रयोग करायला मिळाले ...त्या निर्मितीतील प्रक्रियांमध्ये जो आनंद आणि समाधान मिळाले ते मला शब्दात कधीच सांगता येणार नाही..सिर्फ रूह से मेहसूस करनेवाली बात है..प्रत्येक वेळी चंद्रकांत बरोबर काम करतांना
नवनव्या आव्हानांना सामोरे जाणे आणि त्याच्यातल्या प्रतिभावंताचे समाधान होईपर्यंत कवितेला वेगवेगळ्या पद्धातीने भिडत जाऊन गाभ्यापर्यंत पोहोचणे यातला थ्रील मी ...मी अनुभवलंय ...आणि दरवेळा रिता होता होता समृद्ध होता गेलोय...
माझ्यावर असा विश्वास टाकणारा माझा हा प्रतिभावंत मित्र ...त्याच्या माझ्या सृजनात्मक रुणानुबंधांचा मला फार अभिमान वाटतो...अगदी महानिर्वाण ,बदकांचे गुपित , तीन पैश्याचा तमाशा, पडघम ,तुमचे अमुचे गाणे , जळळी तुझी प्रीत हि संगीतमय
नाटके आणि शब्दवेध द्वारा उपरनिर्देशित कलाकृती या सगळ्या प्रवासात त्याची साथ फार मोलाची राहिलीये ...नव्या संकल्पना ,नव्या संहिता नवे संगीत आणि नवे सादरीकरण असा सतत अभिजात नवतेचा ध्यास घेऊन कार्यरत राहिलेल्या याप्रतिभावंताच कार्य मला फार मोलाच वाटत ..कारण लोकप्रियता मिळवण्यासाठी सवंग कार्यक्रमांची आणि तीच तीच पान पिसून नवा डाव मांड णा-या चलाखी ऐवजी त्याकडे पाठ फिरवून स्वत:ला आवडणारी अभिरुचीपूर्ण अभिजात निर्मित्तीच
त्यानं संकल्पन केलं आणि अनंत अडचणींना तोंड देत दरवेळी प्रत्यक्षात आणलं ..( हे लिहिणं आणि वाचणं हि फार सोप्पं आहे पण करणं महाकठीण ...) म्हणून मला हे लिहितांना खूप आनंद होतोय ...कि चंदू तुसी ग्रेट हो ...थ्री चीअर्स फोर चंद्रकांत काळे आणि शब्दवेध

Children no more.....

After 3 decades of marriage one has this wonderful experience of  being a father to grown ups.
It is an exhilarating feeling. You may ask why and rightly so. Exhilarating means according to the dictionary..

1. (n.) The act of enlivening the spirits; the act of making glad or cheerful; a gladdening.
2. (n.) The state of being enlivened or cheerful.

Why glad because finally they have all grown into 'Adults' (21+) Cheerful because you have no worries about how,what,when,why? You brought them into this world our of your will and choice.You successfully gave them care,love,home,name,education and helped stand on their feet as self supporting beings.

 In the 'West', they have their kids @home only up to High school and rightly so,push them in to the water so to say or the 'Sea of Life' so that they learn to survive and achieve what they can unto their abilities.

Here we surely take things too far.

We even care about what they study,where they work,whom and how they marry,who they befriend etc...etc... I agree that  children need support after birth to learn hold their heads.Once they do,we help them to stand  and see that they are capable enough to walk on their own.We make them strong  by giving them our finger for moral support so that they gain confidence in themselves. They learn to run,jump,etc... all on their own once you have given them the basics.

Each individual once grown up has to have his/her own choice unless they ask for advice.Again, that is all you can do, the choice is finally their's.You can only try to give them 'the best to your ability'.

Self improvement and growth is different in each individual,nothing can be standardized.Expecting too much is a trait of the human as like 'avarice' or even over expectation.Thought of being and the Ability to be able to are 2 different things.Social status and trend is another great threat to individual development.

All this just to say that I am very clear about what I am doing.Done my duty and don't dream for others.I accept Life,Fate and Destiny!Doesn't mean I sit Idle...lol.

So Now with 3 Adult kids I have put behind me a major milestone...

It will be your turn too!

A child is born and there is celebration ,joy and a responsibility.


If you are born in a family with all the requisites for a normal life things are quite easy.If you have a good back-up like,property,salary,savings,parental support-- you are one of the very few in the world i.e. 2%. What?? Yes..... you do not value it...for it is there for you, served on a platter so to say!


When you grow along with a child who is in turn born to you.... what's your take?


When your Parents grow old ....what do you do? Do you care as much and care for them with responsibility? You grew with what they fed you, learned with the education they parted,Saw what they wished you should and couldn't on your own.Do you care for them with all their shortcomings as they cared for you? Do you help them walk as they helped you with your first steps? Do you put a smile on their face as they have striven? Please see what you do to your  kids,what your parents did for you and then what you should do for them!


Are you waiting for them (parent/s) to die? So that according to Hindu or Indian law  you will be heirs to their property and wealth?Have you tried to save and make some  wealth of your own? Are they a burden or hindrance in your lives? 


You may be in good health and relationships today but one never knows what destiny and fate has for us.Do not be too overconfident.Do not take things for granted!


One's approach to life should be all encompassing.One should feel and value his/her blessedness.Look around and you shall find!Look behind and you will appreciate.''I saw a child cry because he had no shoes,till he saw a boy without feet''.


The time,love ,energy and money your parents have spent for you is incomparable and invaluable !!Have a broad mind and a big heart.Have compassion,love,value for those who are responsible for what you are and where you are.


Greet them, meet them, care for them,put a smile on their face and pride in their eyes.Make them happy for having you as their child and blessed that they have not wronged.Did they ever say you were a burden? Did they not let you have your ways? Did they not want o see you happy and satisfied?  


What's your duty towards them? or is it only the Rights you have from them?

I fully appreciate the work being done by Mr Amir Khan... he has shown the courage to be a true 'Human'.
