Feel So Blessed And This Is Why...

I have been blessed with 3 children and I thank my wife for that! 2 girls and a boy. Let me clarify he is not the youngest but my second child.
Kirti, the Eldest was lucky to get to model for a children's company called "Gini&Jony" when she was in school and immediately did a 13 episode serial called "Saath Saath'' on DD1 (Door Darshan). That was quite an achievement in the school days. She has now grown up into a smart lady and is working for a hair Trichology company as a Senior Hair Technician.
Rishi, the second is my son who due to his schooling in a boarding school in Panchgani took to the liking for 'Mother Nature' and it's creations. He handled snakes and scorpions etc. at a small age and soon was a "Sarp Mitra" (friend of snakes) and worked for social causes. He took up photography when I saw some of his clicked pictures and told him that he had an eye for Good frames.Three  years ago he won the first prize for for a Wild Life Photography Competition 2010 held by Vasundhara outdoors and holidays - Nature Kids club.I was happy to receive the prize on his behalf from a personal friend Kiran Purandare :-http://www.naturewalkoutdoors.com/people.html  who was the main judge. We both were taken by surprise.Later he was into rock/wall climbing and also Motorbike racing. He won 2 second place prizes at Mumbai and Pune in the KTM Orange Day Races.Seeing his podium pictures I was an enthralled and happy father.http://www.zigwheels.com/news-features/features/ktm-orange-day-brings-radiance-to-punes-downtown-racing/14311/2  He now is into experimenting breeding of 'fresh water prawns'..
The latest surprise was from my youngest  daughter Naina, who is working as a floor manager and assistant director in KBC is ‘Kon Hoeel Marathi Crorepati’ on ETV Marathi. So enthusiastically watching the show with my mother, when I saw her name come up in the credits scrolled at the end of each show I was a smiling, and  a very happy father who felt deeply blessed. She has done this as her own choice of profession and I hope she achieves greater success. I hope All 3 of them do in their respective fields..
I wanted to express gratitude and heartfelt blessings and happiness by the maker showered upon me through this small way...my blog!

Solar Water Heating in India - Safety Measures!

Solar Water Heating  System (SWHS)  may sound so dry a topic in my blog. I do  not blame you,I have to justify tough why I have chosen to write about it.

I am basically an Arts faculty student and that too with Political Science and History of the west as my subjects. My attempt to study BA and then MA in Public Admn. in preparation to appearing for IFS failed badly as my father's political life,my grandfather's health all were a big hurdle. Pune was my final destination as my children wanted to study here and so I had to choose a future.... that I did in Renewable Energy which I thought would be the future business and need ...all this in 2001.

Having learnt all of it (Solar Power) from scratch as a layman and field worker, I am aware of more or less every difficulty in the field.I take this knowledge to share with my friends and acquaintances of some highlights....

" An incidence of 'Scalding' burning of skin by  hot water resulted in the ultimate death of a person." Can this be true? Yes very much so.It was a wake up call for me !! It should be one to those who 'use' as well as 'deal' in Solar Hot Water applications.

Precautions:-
1) Safety
2) Quality
3) Ease in Utility
4) Comfort
5) Technical Installation
6) Knowledge of Use/misuse
7) Adept agency

Companies like Honeywell have 'Anti Scald' valves.Forget the cost...it could cost your life/health.
Solar systems are fit in:-
a) Hostels
b) Hotels
c) Hospitals
d)Old age homes,
e) NGOs for the challenged
f) Industries
g) Residential Homes
h) Housing complexes

What happens;- Solar water heater produces uncontrolled hot water in summer, even steam. During this period hot water requirement is less/nil & generation is maximum. This non-usage further leads to overheating to higher temperatures. forming scales Ca Mg (calcium-magnesium),  leaking joints, fittings, gaskets etc.

A solution has to be provided for non-usage & overheating apart from scald protection.

This is done by anti-scald valve known as TM50 --It's "features'' are as follows:-

· Powerless: No external power is required like electricity or battery for operation. GREENVALVE
·   Anti Scald: hot-water inlet  automatically cuts off instantaneously if the cold water supply fails.*
·   Anti chill: cold-water inlet  automatically cuts off instantaneously if hot water supply fails.*
These two points makes valve safe for children and senior citizens.
·   Fluctuation in supply of hot or cold water makes proportional change in respective ports, which results in set uniform temperature water at the outlet.
·   Saves water: Initial water runoff from hot-water end succeeds control action by valve when hot water starts flowing. Initial water runoff from cold-water end does not take place. In case of no water at hot end, valve shuts off.
·  Entire control loop in 1 package: It includes Temp. sensor, PID controller, Actuator & control valve.
·   Compact size.
·  Sensor is built in, placed in flow for best feedback control, no separate mounting/fitting is required.
·   Simple setting of required water temperature by knob.
·   No specific maintenance is required under normal operating conditions.
·   Valve operation is gradual hence does not produce surges in piping(water hammer)
·   Valve operation is silent

All SWHS users, manufacturers (especially installers) please take serious note of all this.for further detailed enquiry I have a contact for technical support and supply.     >       vega_inst@yahoo.com

I hope I have evoked enough of thoughts in you to make you think in the right direction.

Friendship....Male and Female

Both a creation of Nature, will continue to be debated ....

The 'way' a human is born has been discovered and how it grows too but we haven't yet been able to substitute the 'Female womb'.

Genes and DNA can be deciphered but to make a 'particular perfect human' has been an impossibility.Cloning is copying Nature....but the characteristics would be restricted to a part and not an entirety.

The attraction of Males and Females is a natural one or else we would not have multiplied the way we do. So that is beyond personal control. As every person is 'unique' and so will respond differently to similar situations.

Humans all over the Earth have come up in different Geographical,Cultural,Educational,Social,Economical,Religious,...so on and so forth....conditions. Thereby their,Ethics,Morals,Habits,Parental/Teachings etc..etc... will differ...having no common grounds even in the same country.

Humans grew up with the law of the Jungle.Humans settled down and formed a 'civilized' society. The rules were made by a Male dominated or even a fully male group of thinkers. But they put sense into 'jungle' living.
The 'Survival of the fittest' and Might is right laws of Nature were put in control by Rules and regulations,Bans and censures....So then each male/female got a 'mate' for the most natural urge of sex with the institution of 'Marriage'

All this is quite serious and so is the requirement by each individual for food,water,sleep,sex,etc..So how do we balance all this? What about availability and need when one is away for days on end...Why do we always think of Ethics,morals,etc....all set by us humans? What about 'Mother Nature' who made us all.

All relations and relationships are human creations..The names we give and the restrictions we put....all due to prevention of 'inbreeding',wrong genetics,Blood groups...etc...

So a Friend could be a male or a female so a male-male is OK but a female-male is not if it is without sex...and vice-verse ? I just differ to go into thoughts of sitting as a "Judge" on every action of Humans..

Sanctimony is a human creation ...But when one lives in an educated developed society....one should compare an apple to an apple and not have any thought across the board.

Whether Indian or western...the human remains the same...
Here are some good references by modern studies...

http://articles.timesofindia.indiatimes.com/2012-09-21/man-woman/32847964_1_attraction-men-and-women-friendships

A lot more can be said and explained...but this should give each a clear idea and keep Religion,Culture,Country,...(all man made) ...out of this!

25 years ago...this day...

Father was up and ready early in the morning, having shaved and bathed. He was waiting for the social and political local leaders he had called to discuss various burning issues of the region. Several issues agitated his mind. Why is it that the proposed coach building factory had not been sanctioned for Akola? Why no effective demand was being raised for shifting the headquarters of the Cotton Corporation of India to Akola known as a rich cotton growing, processing, trading town with several textiles mills located there. He was visibly unhappy that the local leaders were not taking up these issues in right earnest.

While pacing up and down, he lit a cigarette when he suffered a massive stroke. He slumped on his bed, never to recover. Doctors were summoned. But to no avail. He was dead. Our black prairie dog lay under is bed, refusing to eat or drink for three days. It was ‘Shani Amavasya’, Saturday, 16th April 1988.

His heart always beat for the people of his soil. He lived and died as a ‘Bhoomiputra’. He was only two when his freedom fighter mother was sentenced to jail. He too became a prisoner to be with his mother. His mother’s brother was a revolutionary and even hid arms at home. Having had such a surrounding, it was natural for father to follow in the footsteps of his mother and uncle. He was jailed twice and after the Independence was elected the first and youngest  President of the Freedom Fighters Association in Akola.

An avid reader, he was an enchanting orator who moved the audience. Chief ministers and even the Prime Minister showered him with praises for his oratory and sought him out as the star campaigner during elections. Even his political opponents acknowledged his oratorical prowess. Just five feet in height, he rose to immense heights in social and political stature in Maharashtra.

I was in Mumbai with my family when I got to know the news of his death. I was so dazed that I could remember only vaguely how we reached Akola. His people had already taken over his body and the last rites. I simply did what people told me to do. I told mother to take care of herself and expect everything to be as it was when he had left the ministry and given up his ticket in 1972 to honor the wishes of Mrs Indira Gandhi who wanted all those who had enjoyed an office in the government to make way for newer blood and devote their time and energy on party organization. It was then that he suffered massive myocardial infarction.  Having no office and position, all his fair-weather friends and relations left him.

I told Aai (Mother), “phones will stop ringing, so will the doorbell, letters will dwindle. He left Ministry in ’72 and now he died as a sitting MP. Never be afraid of the future. We would never be compelled to go back to a chawl where my sister Kiran and I were born. We will make a better life, so what if father has left us with no money.

In the last 25 years we have become richer in terms of friends and well-wishers earned.

I pray in the memory of a everlasting memory of Madhusudan A Vairale my departed ,beloved,Father....that the dreams he saw for his people will come true....someday...

What do I make out from this?

Growing up is a process of nature once you are born...isn't it ? What do you do for that? You eat and drink what you are given in childhood and you develop a taste. A taste which reminds you till the end of your living existence. You call it "motherly', 'homely', original ......i.e. close to your heart.

The other tastes you are introduced as per situation, luck, introduction, reading, exposure, chance.
Whatever the reason may be, you have choices and one chooses according to one's liking.Taste cannot be forced neither can liking. It is inborn, ingrained, simply because "each individual is UNIQUE"

Everybody refuses this and makes,insists,forces,reasons,etc........to choose or like..this is so irritating and unnatural. Each to his/her own is the law of Nature. The human refuses to accept!
The EGO tries every possible argument ,force, reason, ethics, rule, gimmick, etc.... to make a fellow human do something according to 'his/her' perception!

Al individuals are born with a unique character...i.e. parents, geographical and economic situation,etc....

Their lives are all unique, with their experiences, friends, upbringing,so on and so forth...thereby having unique influences and biases...there may be common denominators but the fraction is a different one always.

''The forced urge and want to 'make' people think, influence and force them, not asking their personal choice, giving them space, chance, options is a big fault of the modern day civilized human.''

Education may give you information and bring you close to knowledge but the understanding,maturity,usefulness,choice,wisdom,etc.....are a far cry away many a times. 'Educational Degrees' do not make a wise human, they you  give a better chance of becoming so!

Personal urge, want, lust, hunger, selfish motive like greed,etc.... takes a human from the right path. Easy virtue makes a human weak and suspect. The so called combination of the head and heart goes haywire... Realization  is many a times too late!

A big heart and an open mind, simplicity and humility, drowning of the EGO are the tools to be a ''Happy and contented" soul. Both are not tangible but surely manageable.

Hue-mans are we all ?

Hue means:- Complexion , Aspect, gradation of color ,  as The definition says.

We are a 'unique' creed. Living in harmony is misconstrued into "harm" 'Any'. The uniqueness of the Social animal with intelligence and special qualities have only made the Human feel "he" is the creator.

Wanderer ,hunter, survivor to a civilized being has not taught the human a lot. Might is Right was only physical but Knowledge from the written word and spoken language has take the human places.....The humans knows not the limitations.

Knowledge of growing food, making tools, making things available without nomadic wandering has made the human lose his origin.Communication,Transport, after the discovery of Fire,Metal,Wheels etc... has made him go wilder than he was without these.

Making his own laws and ethics with his own rationale has made man go berserk. The sexes are thought to be ruled by him. Expecting the fact that you need 2 to complete is not in consideration.

The way he behaves ,she reacts.... it's nature's law... Humans have to bow to Nature.

Hues have overtones, undertones so do humans..... They have primary colours as well as secondary ones.....Humans has tertiary colours too..

Humans are there in a different brightness and chroma.....There chromaticity  can vary too! They have different contrasts and lightness too ....

They have different saturation points , differing values. Each with a different colouration and colouring.Their colourways are varied too!

The world all over their pigmentation changes too! so we have a varied variety of 'Hues'

Yet what ever he does is News ...but only for him !! Nature knows it all as he is her product..she is ready for this! She will react accordingly!Humans won't understand though....even if they do ...what about it? finally suffer the results of their actions and perish. Adamant and irreparable.

Hope is the only thing that keeps them going and evolving is the only what they can do.Change is the common permanent denominator ! Someday the Human will know WHY?
