Surely Times are changing !

The happening thing in India for me is... ''Satyamevajayate'"

Justice Dharmadhikari said it all !

This topic exposes humanity at large .... all over the GLOBE !

A human is human only when he/she is qualified..... sad...self defeating!!

"We do not want to accept the real truth about us"

We have a false EGO !! We fool others and finally ourselves!

We are totally hypocritical !!!

Time will keep on proceeding .... but the Human isn't!! The human needs to look with several glasses and see the perspectives! The human needs to accept the follies! The Human needs to be all enveloping and stop being 'selfish' and 'self centered'.

I fully appreciate the work being done by Mr Amir Khan... he has shown the courage to be a true 'Human'.
( and yes,I have not been paid by anyone to say so)

Sympathy,Empathy,Brotherhood,Love,Care,Giving,Helping, and so on and so forth..... That makes us Humans or else we are just social animals, with animal instinct and selfish motive and bloated EGO !!!

Enough said.....

Times are changing,,,,,,,,,

Sharing....Where is India Going?

I am not really an authourity to write about such a topic.... but I would like to share my thoughts with the Suleka Community!
Having been born in a shanty chawl due to my father's poverty, whatever I am and will be till the day I die will be on the 'plus' side.I have no biases therefore about 'ego and economic status'.Due to the background I come from, due to my father and sister, I have had many a chance to choose and enjoy the benefits they could have led me to.  I had dreamt of a career in the IFS(Indian Foreign Service) but alas, fate and destiny had something else in mind.So here I sit with my task and duties, looking at what has happened here ,in India, right in front of my eyes.
Politics during my childhood and Politicians for that matter had a better and higher place in Society. The Films(now Bollywod) was a low esteem career.Business was for those with contacts,Money and Hard work. Education was a 'star on your shoulder' field. lawyers were most revered and Doctors were Gods.Engineers,Scientists,Pilots,etc... were a very Intelligent and God Blessed Lot!
The dynamics have changed greatly! Everything is topsy turvy!Priorities and importances have changed,Reverences has been altered,Values and Respect has shifted,Perspectives altered due to the approach by their own doings!!
Wealth, Money,Power has made' man '; inhuman, insensitivand immoral! We have no good IDOLS to follow. No one to respect and No profession is unquestionable to follow.Politics is everywhere alongwith avarice.Grab what you can get and don't worry about the fellow humans...there are too many of them around ! lol !
We have made ourselves worthless by over producing!!!! Humans aren't rare therefore of the least value.'Pure Economics' Need and supply!! The Figures are mind boggling and so therfore is the destruction by and of Humankind!
Man is digging his own grave...... ...Here we are trying to have a new President and there they are fighting about Priministerial Candidates!!! Oh what a laugh!
We pay tax and yet they keep taxing our brains and giving us stress and leading us all to all kinds of attacks !!!!
Can't we people think, act, behave??? Where is our great culture and history?Do we have morals, ethics, reason??
I and not trying to be pessimistic but I want us all to wake up  and awaken others! I want all of us to start a true, real, sincere, heartfelt movement....so that mankind will start looking at things with a 'Proper' perspective and lead towards a 'good' path of peace, progress and posterity'
Amir Khan is intelligent and sincere enough doing his bit! What are 'we' doing? Is the empathy in humankind dead?Do we have no ''DUTY"? Are we only going to fight for our "RIGHTS" ??
Look at your Nation! Do it for our national pride!
So Vivekananda was so right! -Arise, Awake and stop not till the goal is reached....
Where is the road we are walking on, taking us to?

Of the world and people...

This is like always totally extempore ! NEWS is no good from any direction and seems the deterioration will only increase.I feel blessed not because of this fact but because I will not be able to see the effects of what is happening today! Why? not because I will die tomorrow but by the time I will ,The peak would be quite in sight!

I am not being pessimistic cause I can't lie.I think young and always promote the youth!Looking around though 'People' want to continue ruling till the D-day and be stubborn and selfish!Ironically no one carries even his/her own clothes to 'Heaven or Hell' ALL are 'Naked' there. They also are Penniless,Landless, Beauty less, Alone,Only carrying their Guilt! No Fooling,Belying,Betraying, High/Hard handedness,Clout,Background,Support.....

Shamelessly the human carries on till he/she enters his/her grave.Fright doesn't belong to the Naked and neither does Shame.Only the clean are frightened of getting dirtied! The weak afraid of Muscle! The Poor of the Wealthy,The Weak of the Healthy......But all that turns to a farce when all have to 'Finally' leave!!!

Killing fellow beings only shows how you Humans are still ANIMALS and not " the human" God, Christ or Allah made!

Man made money and wealth... when nothing belongs to him/her... It is all Imaginative. the 'real wealth' is all around us all and we all are trying to be around 'US' ...lol what a laugh!

NATURE is called Mother !!! and who is caring for HER??

Man cannot replace the 'Creator' who so ever it,he,she is !!

Fooling the world all the time only helps to make you fool yourself!!!

Materialistic Dreams and Possessions... can they help you to go to Paradise or attain Moksha? Is temporary acquisition of something materialistic The be all and end all of our ''LIFE"?

Respect and regard to fellow humans is a must if one wants to 'be alive' in reality. Do we life for ourselves or others? This doesn't mean one should live 'howsoever' one wants but according to the prevalent ethics and norms or else '' leave'' that environment and go "back to nature" where you live the Law of Nature and not of the "man made society!!! "

we all have a right to choose ..... No one owns the world personally...It is a universal possession!

So please leave your EGO ....what the human feels is he is  the " Eternal Governing Ostensible"

Be Human, be Humble ,be Humorous , be Healthy !!!

Living LIFE with total acceptance!

"When I take a long look at my life, as though from outside, it does not appear particularly happy. Yet I am even less justified in calling it unhappy, despite all its mistakes. After all, it is foolish to keep probing for happiness or unhappiness, for it seems to me it would be hard to exchange the unhappiest days of my life for all the happy ones. If what matters in a person’s existence is to accept the inevitable consciously, to taste the good and bad to the full and to make for oneself a more individual, unaccidental and inward destiny alongside one’s external fate, then my life has been neither empty nor worthless. Even if, as it is decreed by the gods, fate has inexorably trod over my external existence as it does with everyone, my inner life has been of my own making . I deserve its sweetness and bitterness and accept full responsibility for it." ~ Hermann Hesse, Gertrude

I feel blessed, I never look at what others have and I don't, but I try and learn to appreciate what I have and have had everyday and in my past ! The 'given present' is so worthy of our attention that if one is so engrossed in it, one would never ever be unhappy with life.I always say to people don't just look ahead.... look behind you! ''there are so many who do not have what you do"

As I always quote from the hoarding Vijay Merchant had put up a s a president of the Society for Handicapped...
It showed a boy weeping , sitting on a broken wall... and a slogan below..
which said...'' I cried because I had no shoes, until I saw a boy without feet"

Amen ! Ameen ! Thathastu!

Kondee ( Dilemma)

A Marathi play which I saw along with the Music Director Anand Modak a close friend, philosopher, guide. Who coincidentally has given music to the song in the drama.”Kondee”

The germ of the play has an age old origin:- the 1882 Henrik Ibsen play, the 1989 Satyajit Ray film, see Ganashatru.

It is here that you will find a detailed explanation http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/An_Enemy_of_the_People

This Marathi play is produced by Ms. Vishwavinayak. Written by Ashok Shahane’ , Directed by Shekhar Nawre’, Song writer Vijay Kulwekar, and the main actors are Upendra Date’, Arun Hornekar and Shekhar Nawre’.

This play was held at Bal Gandharva Rang Mandir, Pune. I would like to put forward some opinions without bias …

The Production was a very good effort to make the common man aware of ‘human psychology’ in given situations due to ‘practical’ thought without ‘essence’. 1. The intrinsic or indispensable properties that serve to characterize or identify something.2. The most important ingredient; the crucial element.3. The inherent, unchanging nature of a thing or class of things.

The play also wants to show the hypocritical and corrupt nature of the political system that they support. It is the story of one brave man's struggle to do the right thing and speak the truth in the face of extreme social intolerance.

It is true that ideas grow stale and platitudinous, but one may go one step further and say flatly that truths die. There are no absolute principles of either wisdom or morality.

This play is about strength of “One” person’s conviction and strength of truth. The Corruption of people in thought and rationality is projected through the representatives of various sectors of the society.

The Play sure needs to be seen by all Marathi Stage lovers and some thought should go into finding the true solutions for this caner of bad thought in political and social values.

Now the Critique…

The play needs to be well enacted by some characters that look a miscast. The Main Cast of: Upendra, Shekhar and Arun is a class act. The Editor is also well enacted by Abhay Kulkarni. But the others need a change of pulling up too. The sets were shaky and the sleekness was a bit inept for the asking.

Sadly, Stage, Drama, Live performances are not getting the appreciation and response ‘people’ should give. Their Importance and Effective punch is undervalued by the new generation because of other commercial offerings, as “money” in TV, Movies and all electronic media attracts a lot of viewers by just sitting at home and pressing a few buttons.. The ‘‘Real” actor is missed by many of us and ‘performances’ are unreal, dubbed or patched in by help of machines. The thrill of a live enactment and the impact of personal experience is lost.

I hope the Marathi stage survives and flourishes…only we the people can do it.

I am sure if ‘Kondee” is brushed up in the sets, recasting and re-composition of the first part of the play is done …..The play will be an effective platform to do an ‘Anna’ in the Dramatics field! It has a lot to say and ponder about!!

Caring Friends- Pune Chapter !

A few days ago I received a phonecall from a Pune representative of "Snehalaya" ...

http://www.snehalaya.org/

The function was a get-together at the ICC Centre on Senapati Marg, MCCIA PUNE auditorium ...

http://mcciapune.com/cms/About-Us.aspx

To my surprise there was speakers of extreme commitment and importance.Namely...

Mr. Ramesh Kacholia, Mr. Nimesh Sumati, Mr. Girish Kulkarni, Ms Neelima Mishra,

et all........

Here is what I got to Know & what all is happening around us.....

Caring Friends !!

Starting with one person supporting one institution in 1981, caring friends is now a group of more than 300 friends from India and abroad, supporting nearly 40 institutions in 9 different States of India.

Our support can be financial or voluntary service. It is provided irrespective of caste, creed, community, religion or region. The only criteria is the quality of their work. It should really be outstanding and must help the most neglected segments of the society.

Who we are
  • We are a voluntary group of like minded and determined individuals.
  • We proactively identify outstanding but struggling humanitarian efforts, completely aligned to Gandhiji’s ‘Antodaya’ dream.
  • We carry out a due diligence and establish the bonafides.
  • We support the effort with management resources (financial, professional, technical) to ensure initial results.
  • We seek support from individuals and corporates to scale up the efforts, and provide mentorship till they are sustainable.

What we are not
  • We are not an NGO.
  • We do not have a bank account and do not accept any donations in our name.
  • We do not have any administrative overheads. All donations go directly to the NGOs.
  • We do not have any formal organizational structure and postions such as a President, Secretary, etc.

" Our sole objective is to identity and support outstanding humanitarian and comparatively little known organizations working to improve the lives of lowest strata of our society in the tribal, backward rural areas across our country" - Ramesh Kacholia,

"..We have ensured that our method of work is totally transparent. We are proactive & keep looking for truly outstanding institutions. Once we identify any such institution, we first collect all the information, & scrutinize it thoroughly, visit the institution personally & examine its work in great detail. If we find that the work is truly excellent & the institution is really in need of support, then we become closely associated with it. Before we approach anyone else to extend support to this institution, we ourselves first donate & support it. All the institutions Caring Friends is associated with are are of a very high caliber. Our greatest satisfaction is that after association of Caring Friends, the work of most of these institutions has not only expanded but the quality of work has also improved tremendously"
- Nimesh Sumati (Caring Friends)
I was floored and I was all for it. They were interested in starting a Pune Chapter, I am for it....I will be joining them soon.
